Explore Kauai on a family-friendly guided kayaking and hiking tour of the Wailua river valley and Uluwehi falls a.k.a. Secret Falls. A professional tour guide will take you paddling through some of Kauai's most sacred waterways and hiking through some of the most beautiful lush tropical forest Kauai has to offer sharing myths, legends and some Hawaiian history all the way to Secret Falls.

Turn off KUHIO hwy into the shopping plaza with the green building which is across the street from the Shell gas station. Look for the STAND UP PADDLE shop and Dukes Kayak Adventures sandwich board next to it. Feel free to park nearby and your guide will meet you and take care of you from there.

• Our meeting location is 4-361 Kuhio Hwy, Ste 106. Kapaa, 96746. We’re right off the highway in the shopping plaza. Look for the Kauai SUP shop and Dukes Kayak Adventures sandwich board. Your guide will meet you in the parking lot and check you in.
Must wear shoes that are secure to your feet. No flip flops. Please bring plenty of drinking water. Other recommended items to bring: swimsuits, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, lunch or a snack, and a towel.
We do not provide food or water. Ziploc bags should be used for cell phones or cameras that are not waterproof. We will provide a dry bag backpack for your party.
Please note: if you are happy with your tour guide(we take great care with choosing who to work with and make sure they are qualified, professional and caring), then tips are encouraged.
• Not recommended for participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions.
• Not recommended for pregnant women.
• Not recommended for participants with recent back, knee or ankle injuries.
• No open wounds.
• Participants must be able to hike approximately two miles through somewhat rocky and sometimes muddy, slippery terrain.
• Subject to favorable weather conditions. We go rain or shine. If canceled due to flash flood warning, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
• Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be fully refunded.

Qué esperar
You will meet your tour guide at either 7 am or 12:15 pm at the designated meeting point. You will then drive for a short ride to the Wailua marina boat ramp.
At the marina, your tour guide will give a short lesson in kayaking and rules of the river. Then your guide will load everyone into the kayaks and your journey begins up the river for 1.5 miles to the north fork.
Once there, you will park your kayaks. You will then begin hiking for about 45 minutes at a moderate incline to secret falls. Along the way your guide will share myths and legends of the beautiful Wailua River valley.
At secret falls you will have time to enjoy the water and beautiful scenery. Then, on the way back, you will have 45 minutes of hiking back and 1.5 miles of kayaking to get back to the Wailua marina.
